  • We hosted another great speaker at our Cell and Developmental Biology Network series: Dr Sarah Robinson from Sainsbury Laboratory Cambridge, who delivered a great talk titled "Feeling stressed"

  • It has been a pleasure to host Prof. James Locke from Sainsbury Laboratory Cambridge, who gave an inspiring talk titled "Mechanisms and functions of noisy and dynamic gene regulation" at our departmental Cell and Developmental Biology Network series

April 2025

  • GS gave an invited talk to the Inaugural Conference of the Bioelectricity Cluster, in Oxford. The talk was titled "Bioelectric Patterns in Plant Tissue Regeneration" and was very well received.
  • Three undergraduate students are joining the lab for their Final Year Project: Annette Reijank, Anita Jennings and Brishti Miller. They will be working on various aspects of root regeneration. Have fun!

March 2025

  • Zoe Nahas visited us and gave a talk at our departmental Cell and Developmental Biology Network series. She did her PhD with Ottolyne Leyser at Sainsbury Laboratory in Cambridge and is now a fresh post-doc with Christian Fankhauser at the University of Lausanne. Zoe gave a fantastic talk titled "Regulation of shoot branching in Arabidopsis: competition between modular parts".
