In this research program we aim to predict the collapse load, and model difficulties in different locations in the panel and the variety of damage mechanisms which could lead to final failure. To achieve our aim we have create a semi-automated Post buckling Analysis Platform capable of:

  • Including initial imperfections
  • Describing the progressive failure
  • Capturing mode-jump
  • Generating different geometries parametrically
  • Including geometric and material nonlinearities
