Yes. We welcome suggestions for dashboard enhancements, new features and new dashboard ideas. Requests can be submitted through the Dashboard Support form.
No. Imperial Learning Analytics is designed to support, not replace, professional judgement. Dashboards provide additional information to help inform decisions and conversations with students.
Access to Learning Analytics dashboards is managed in line with user roles, responsibilities and dashboard availability. Access is currently being rolled out in phases across departments and use cases.
If you are interested in accessing a dashboard that is not currently available to you, please contact the Imperial Learning Analytics team or submit a Dashboard Support request. This helps us identify potential use cases and inform future rollout plans.

Imperial Learning Analytics is managed in accordance with university policies, UK data protection legislation and the Imperial Learning Analytics Code of Practice. Access is restricted to authorised users with a legitimate educational or operational purpose.
Most Imperial Learning Analytics dashboard data is refreshed from sources daily. However there is a 2 day lag between changes in source data appearing in the dashboards.
Some metrics may use a different refresh frequency. Where this applies, it will be stated within the dashboard and supporting documentation.
Imperial Learning Analytics dashboards bring together data from a range of university systems, including digital education platforms (Blackboard, Panopto and Canvas), attendance, and student record systems. Data sources may vary between dashboards.
If you identify missing, unexpected or potentially incorrect data, please submit a Dashboard Support request. Providing screenshots and details of the issue will help us investigate more quickly.

Access to Imperial Learning Analytics dashboards is based on the intended use of the data, role and responsibilities. Not all dashboards are available to all users.
Imperial Learning Analytics dashboards are developed and maintained by the Imperial Learning Analytics team, based in the Central Education Office, in collaboration with academic departments, professional services teams and users across Imperial.
