- Addressing foundational challenges in frontier AI, including model training, safety and societal impact. An example in practice is the Thomson Reuters-Imperial College London Frontier AI Lab.

- Designing AI from the ground up to promote human alignment, values and socio-cultural adaptions.

- Working with real-world environments to test, evaluate, and refine breakthrough technologies, generating real-world evidence and feedback on their impact.

- What if ethics and governance were built into architecture from the outset? Our overarching focus is advancing AI responsibly, towards systems that enhance both human and machine potential for societal good.
