The School of Convergence Science is an ambitious new initiative which is mission-led by design and is a core pillar of Imperial’s Science for Humanity strategy.

We collaborate globally with researchers, industry, governments, and funders to translate science into action to address the world’s toughest challenges. Within Imperial we demonstrate the full arc of impact - from frontier discovery to real-world deployment.

Our ambition is to create a new approach to scientific exploration where the integration of disciplines, convening of cross-sectoral partnerships and harnessing of new models of research stimulate fresh scientific progress and accelerate innovation at scale. Convergence Science at Imperial is about harnessing our collective ingenuity as a powerful force for good and breaking down the silos within and beyond our university that limit progress.
