This course will introduce you to the different requirements for lectureship applications, including hints and tips as to what to include in your CV, research and teaching statements.  

It will also cover how you can highlight your evidence of esteem and ideas on how to gain further experience to enhance your application.  

This course is aimed at postdocs, but there are a limited number of spaces for PGRs. 

Aims

  • To introduce the different requirements for lectureship/assistant professor applications
  • To provide information on what to include in CVs and research/teaching/supporting statements  
  • To give ideas and highlight achievements and successes beyond research and teaching for your application. 

Prerequisites

To make the most of this course we encourage participants to have attended the Research Vision and Academic CVs session.
