This course introduces researchers to the process of preparing a fellowship application. During the session, you will learn where to look for appropriate fellowship funding, what to keep in mind while applying and how to prepare a written application.

This course is designed for research staff planning to apply for a fellowship and is also open to doctoral candidates aiming for an academic career.

  • Understand what a fellowship is
  • Identify where to look for funding opportunities  
  • Interpret the key requirements for fellowship applications 
  • Think about the structure of an application and how to make the most of the space available

To make the most of this course we encourage participants to have attended the Research Vision session.
