Whether you are writing a fellowship application or just want to know what to consider for the sustainability and reproducibility of your data this session will provide you with basic information about what to include on your plan and time to start writing it!

During the session, the Research Data Management team will be demonstrating the use of a data management planning tool called DMPonline.

This course is designed for research staff planning to apply for a fellowship.

Intended Learning Outcomes

  • Explain what a data management plan (DMP) is and why funders ask for this in a fellowship application

  • Identify the common topics covered by a DMP
  • Recognise the types of question that a DMP can ask and answer those

    questions for your own fellowship application
  • Create a DMP using a data management planning tool such as DMPonline
