This online session will introduce the wide range of support available from the Educational Development Unit (EDU), which Postdocs, Fellows & Research Degree Students are able to access. During this session, the EDU team will talk about the Supporting Teaching Accreditation and Recognition (STAR) Framework and how you can start working toward the Advance HE Professional Standards Frameworks, along with the signposting you to the wealth of resources available to support your professional development. There will be time available for a Q&A in relation to teaching and learning at Imperial.
This session will be of interest to any member of staff who teaches or supports the learning of Imperial students, with particular relevance to Postdocs and Fellows.
Aims
- To understand what the Advance HE Professional Standards Framework is
- To introduce the wide range of support the Educational Development Unit provides to members of staff who teach or support learning
- To present the Supporting Teaching Accreditation and Recognition (STAR) Framework
- To answer questions related to teaching and learning at Imperial
