Oral presentations form a major part of research communication. The chance to practise and receive feedback is central to improving performance. Participants will each present a 5 min PowerPoint presentation on their research project to an interdisciplinary audience and receive feedback. The presentation can be recorded as an option for further self-development
This course is open to Research Degree Students, Postdocs & Research Fellows.
Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course you will be able to:
- Recognise how body language, voice, and content affect your presentation impact
- Practise presenting your research to an interdisciplinary audience
- Assess the content, structure, and clarity of presentations
- Evaluate your personal strengths and weaknesses in presenting and consider future development actions
