The Works is open Monday to Friday, from 08.00 to 20.00.
After months of transformation, The Works is back – and it’s almost unrecognisable.
The Works is a contemporary eatery in the Sir Michael Uren building that serves the White City Campus from breakfast until late.
With a wide-ranging menu including gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options as well as daily lunch specials from around the world, there's something to suit every taste, available to sit in or takeaway.
We serve a hot lunch everyday, and hot food is available Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings. Our bar is open every weekday evening and we have live music every second Thursday of the month.
The Works refurbishments
Located on the ground floor of the Sir Michael Uren Building, our much-loved café, bar and events space has been completely reimagined from the ground up.
A brand-new kitchen allows us to serve an exciting, ever-changing menu of fresh hot and cold dishes, while the redesigned front-of-house brings new colour, comfort and social spaces to enjoy from morning to evening
About The Works
The Works at White City reflects on the industrial heritage of the building’s namesake, Sir Michael Uren, and his background in the concrete manufacturing process with “The Works” being synonymous for factories or foundries. It also nods to the intended multi-use purpose of the space, shifting from a cafe to a restaurant to a venue and offering everything in between.
