The Works is open Monday to Friday, from 08.00 to 20.00, during both termtime and holidays.

Location
The Works is located on the ground floor of the Sir Michael Uren building on the White City Campus. The restaurant is step-free from street level and has automatic doors for entry.
The Works is a contemporary eatery in the Sir Michael Uren building that serves the White City Campus from breakfast until late.
With a wide-ranging menu including gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options as well as daily lunch specials from around the world, there's something to suit every taste, available to sit in or takeaway.
We serve a hot lunch everyday, and hot food is available Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings. Our bar is open every weekday evening and we have live music every second Thursday of the month.

The Works' refurbishment
Located on the ground floor of the Sir Michael Uren Building, our much-loved café, bar and events space was completely reimagined from the ground up in Autumn 2025.
A brand-new kitchen allows us to serve an exciting, ever-changing menu of fresh hot and cold dishes, while the redesigned front-of-house brings new colour, comfort and social spaces to enjoy from morning to evening.
About The Works
The Works at White City reflects on the industrial heritage of the building’s namesake, Sir Michael Uren, and his background in the concrete manufacturing process. The name 'The Works' plays on referring to factories or foundries, and the multi-use purpose of the space, shifting from a cafe to a restaurant to a venue; we offer 'the works'!
