Purpose

To oversee the delivery of the Great Service programme, including the digital and operating model and HR enabling elements. The programme aims to deliver right processes, by the right people, to produce the right outcome with the right tools and skills, ensuring its right first time.

  1. approve the progression of projects/initiatives at key points in their lifecycle, from initiation to closure including commercial decision points
  2. approve business cases and changes to scope
  3. approve programme closure and transition to business as usual, through consideration of closure reports and post implementation reviews
  4. consider and approve organisation level operational policies (including the administration operating model) where these are not reserved to a higher body
  5. approve prioritisation decisions within and between initiatives to maximise the delivery of the University’s strategic objectives, and actively manage change and investment risks
  6. approve programme strategies and gate entry and exit criteria for each stage of the programme Horizon scan for key risks and issues relating to areas of operation and oversee related risk mitigation plans. 
  7. To manage the programme budget, risks, issues and dependencies and act as an escalation point to University Management board.
