Who should attend

Departmental Computer Health Assessors, Safety Supervisors and managers responsible for overseeing or supporting health and safety assessments of computer workstations. This training will enable participants to assess workstations locally. To be a competent assessor, you must attend this course. The College continues to strengthen its approach to managing risks associated with sedentary work. The Computer Health Assessor training is now owned by the Safety Department and delivered with support from Occupational Health staff.

  • Guidance on the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992 (Amended).
  • Imperial's Display Screen Equipment Policy, Code of Practice and Guidance Notes.
  • Workstation analysis and risk assessment.
  • Implementation of control measures.

Essential Information

All participants must complete Computer Health and Safety e-learning, which complements face-to-face training and is a helpful refresher.
