Student Visa Attendance and Engagement Monitoring
The University is required to monitor the attendance and engagement of student visa holders. This includes where students are on a work placement, writing up or undertaking external study leave. Departments are responsible for monitoring attendance and engagement and the Visa Compliance Team requests confirmation of this every term.
The UKVI Engagement Monitoring Guidance details how the University records and monitors engagement and the action taken if a student fails to attend as required.
The Student Visa Attendance Monitoring Plan [link to be updated] should be completed and returned to Departments to confirm how attendance is monitored.
