Online course for policymakers on climate change and mental health

Led by the Climate Cares Centre and leading experts from around the world, this online short course developed with Apolitical offers a unique opportunity for public servants to develop the necessary skills and knowledge to address both climate change and mental health at once.

"This course provided me with more reassurance to keep thinking of co-benefits and breaking down silos"

It aims to support learners to understand the connections between climate change and mental health, including the co-benefits that climate action can have for mental health and vice versa. It equips learners with practical knowledge on how to account for these connections through their work, such as resource allocation and planning.

The course has been taken by learners from across Europe, North America, Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia and Latin America.

The online short course is for anyone working in or with governments and involved in health or wellbeing policy and practice or climate and environmental policy and practice. Free places are available, particularly for learners based in the Global South.
