Course description

This class teaches the beginnings of data processing using the Pandas library in Python, and 'awk' on the Unix command line. Familiarity with basic command line techniques such as creating text files and copying files is required, as well as some familiarity with Python; we recommend Python for beginners.

You can use the class PC or bring your own laptop with preferred Python environment including Pandas module. The instructor will use Jupyter Notebooks for demonstrations.
