Our summer schools are considered to be 'short courses' as their duration is less than 6 months.
If you need a visa we advise you to apply for the summer school as early as possible to leave enough time for your visa application process. Checking whether you need a visa or applying for a visa remains your responsibility.
If you do need a visa to travel, you should make sure that you apply for your summer school place as soon as possible to ensure there is enough time for the visa process.
Please inform us by email at cpd@imperial.ac.uk as soon as possible.
You will receive your summer school visa letter when you have been accepted and paid for your place in full.
The Professional Development and Summer Programmes office will provide you with a visa letter.
Please remember to tick this option when you pay for your tuition fee. There is no charge for this.
