Make an appointment
I am an Imperial staff member, can I get an appointment?
The Disability Advisory Service is here to support students. If you are a staff member at Imperial and require disability-related support, please contact the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Centre.
The Disability Advisory Service is currently operating online to support efforts of social distancing designed to help stop the spread of COVID-19 while maintaining a service to students. In line with College advice, the majority of our campus-based activities have been replaced with online appointments, presentations and events.
We can offer the following methods of having an appointment:
- Teams (Office 365)
Disability advisor appointments
You can request an appointment with a disability advisor to discuss the following:
• adjustments and support;
• accommodation (halls of residence);
• your evidence (such as diagnostic assessment reports, GP letters, etc);
• Or other disability-related queries e.g. DSA funding.
We will contact you as soon as an appointment becomes available.
SpLD screening appointments
This service is now closed. You will be able to book a screening from the 1st September 2021.
Information about this service:
If you are a current (enrolled) student and think you have a specific learning difficulty (SpLD) such as:
• AD(H)D as an SpLD
You can have an online screening which will identify any indicators of an SpLD.
If you are within three months of leaving Imperial, you will not be able to have a screening.
Autism screening appointments
Please note that we have had to cease all screenings for autism. This is because we cannot guarantee when students (who we agree merit a referral) will be able to obtain an autism diagnostic assessment. This in turn is due to the unprecedented strains on NHS and related services due to the pandemic.
We will keep this situation under review and will update this information as soon as any changes are made.
Please book an appointment with a disability advisor if you have any additional support needs.
