Being employed in a research contract can be a frantic, reactive and stressful time but it doesn't need to be.
We will look at scheduling, procrastination and prioritisation and how to set boundaries when accepting requests from others.
This course is aimed at those who would like to take back some control over their time in all parts of life.
This course is aimed at Research Staff (postdocs and research fellows).
Goals
- To identify and overcome personal time management issues
- To discuss strategies to work more efficiently
- To learn to prioritise and keep to objectives
- To talk about assertiveness
- To discuss the consequences of bad time management
