The selective and sensitive detection of proteins using aptamer based nanopores
Diseases attributed to protein aggregates or mutants are often present at low concentrations and in complex solutions. As a result such proteins are very hard to detect with current technology limiting the effectiveness of treatment
My project aims to address this problem by combining the highly sensitive and label free detection of nanopores with the highly selectivity of aptamers.
