Course overview
In an increasingly digital world, staying ahead of the curve is essential for people in all kinds of organisations, from schools, colleges and universities, to NGOs, charities and businesses. High-quality planning and communication strategies are essential.
Using role play, discussion and tutor presentations we will explore how effective communication strategies are at the heart of any attempt to understand and thrive in the new digital environment.
Guided by Dr Tatiana Codreanu, you will explore the fundamentals of digital transformation and the role of self-assessment and analysis, planning and communications in approaching emerging digital trends, and practical methods for applying these concepts to your own communication and planning strategies and development projects.
We will use Discord for communication and to share learning materials throughout the course.
Being a practical and hands-on course, you will be working on your own personal project leading to a final presentation in the last week of term.
Reading material or special equipment needed (if any)
We recommend bringing to class a laptop with a recent operating system, as the course includes hands-on work with AI tools and AI agents that are not fully supported on tablets or iPads.
