An event organised by The Alvin Weinberg Foundation to commemorate the centenary of visionary nuclear physicist and humanitarian Dr Alvin Weinberg.
This, the inaugural Alvin Weinberg lecture, features guest speaker Lord Martin Rees FRS. The event’s theme is “Science, technology, 21st century energy, and the future of nuclear power”. Lord Rees’s speech will be followed by a short screening of a new biopic of Dr Weinberg’s life, and general discussion.
