The Imperial College Physics Department hosted a ’Women in Physics’ Open Day.

We invited sixth form Physics students and their teachers to come and join us for the day to listen to a series of lectures, to mingle with professors and staff at Imperial College over lunch and to also take the opportunity to visit one of our research labs.

Feedback was overwhelmingly positive and many participants commented that they were now more convinced than ever to study Physics at University.
