Introduction to the CMS (Content Management System)
Communications and Development provides training in CMS (the College’s Content Management System) and is essential for anyone who will be editing CMS pages within the College website.
This is a three hour, classroom-based, hands-on course.
This course is not appropriate of editors of sites in the Faculty of Medicine website.
The course covers
- An overview of the College web presence
- How to create new pages
- How edit pages, add images, create links and anchors, tables and upload pdfs etc.,
- How to organise your site, move pages, hide pages from navigation
- Make pages College password protected

Additional web training and support
Skills surgeries will help web editors to learn more about good practice and techniques for further enhancing their online content.
