Building on the success of last year’s reception, BSc Joint Honours and Intercalated BSc alumni are once again warmly invited to enjoy an evening get together with old friends and staff from the Business School at the 2011 annual alumni reception.
19.00 – 19.45 Master class by Professor Bart Clarysse, Chair in Entrepreneurship at the Business School. Bart will be discussing the necessary steps you need to take before you start a company you want to grow, as described in his new book.
Smart Entrepreneurs: Building blocks for a successful start-up
Insights from cases such as Boo.com, Garmin, Tomtom, Genappeal, Cropdesign, Siruna and many others to show you how one company can lose $70 million in less than 10 months while another can be sold for $100 million after a couple of years.

Tickets
Tickets are just £20 per person and include a Pimms reception, hot and cold canapés and live music at the fabulous Imperial College venue, 170 Queen’s Gate.
A cash bar will also be available.
Guests of alumni are very welcome.
