Art supplies

This month we are celebrating creative, innovative, inspiring women with an online party.

Join in with games, creative challenges and makes led by artist Chloe Cooper and Imperial College London scientist Madina Wane. They have invited bioengineer Tai Kelani, computer scientist Maria Valera Espina, and the V&A Museum’s sustainability lead Sara Kassam to join the fun and share the stories of women who inspire them.

For the creative party activities, you will need:

  • some coloured pens or pencils
  • scissors
  • a ruler (or something with a straight edge)
  • a few sheets of paper to draw on
  • four random objects from around your home: one that is round, one that is straight, one that is soft and one that is hard.

Please send us any questions or ideas you have about science, engineering, art or inspiring women. We’d love to talk about them during the party. You can submit these questions on Eventbrite when you register for this event or add them to the chat on the day.

Dressing up is optional but it is encouraged!

This party is for families with children aged 5-12, but everyone is welcome.
