This is the first in a new series of demo days at the Centre for Climate Change Innovation, offering an opportunity for early-stage investors to meet and hear from the first cohort of climate positive startups from our accelerator programme within the inspiring environment of the Royal Institution.

These ambitious teams span a range of climate innovations, from sustainable packaging solutions and innovations in solar energy, to direct air capture solutions and cutting edge remote sensing for carbon offsetting.

Attendees will also have the chance to question startups about their ideas, network with them and other like-minded investors over drinks and nibbles, and hear from some expert speakers on the latest trends in climate innovation investment.

The event will run from 1.00 pm – 4.30 pm, followed by networking.

About The Greenhouse

The mission of The Greenhouse is simple: to support the growth of young, sustainable businesses looking to tackle climate change. We aim to grow the pipeline of emerging, viable, impactful businesses that will go on to become commercially successful enterprises that have a positive impact on our climate. The Greenhouse (and its predecessor programme, the Climate-KIC accelerator) has supported over 130 startups over the past decade, who have gone on to raise over $500m in follow-on funding, and created more than 1,500 jobs. It is open to any climate-focused startups based in or accessible to London.
The Greenhouse is part of the Centre for Climate Change Innovation (CCCI). It is co-funded by the 2014 to 2020 European Regional Development Fund programme.

The Covid-secure measures at The Royal Institution are now discretionary. While all visitors and staff will be encouraged to wear face coverings and maintain social distance when in public areas, the only place where it will be mandatory is in the enclosed space of the lift, where a maximum of four people can travel at any one time.
