Our Virtual Open Day, on Tuesday, 22 February 2022, 17.30-18:30, is a great way to find out more about studying Surgical Innovation at Imperial College’s Faculty of Medicine.

The MSc in Surgical Innovation provides the ideal introduction to surgical academia and is designed to be studied part-time alongside surgical training or other NHS work. It is the perfect step towards the development of an academic surgical career.

The modules cover the principles of surgical innovation and technology development, research methods, surgical education and quality improvement with optional modules in a number of surgical specialties. The facility delivering the course are world experts in their respective fields. You will also have the chance to complete both a library dissertation and research project- both of which could be the foundations of a subsequent PhD.
