About the speaker

Marios Kountouris is a Senior Member of the IEEE and received a Diploma degree in electrical and computer engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece, in 2002, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Télécom Paris, Paris, France, in 2004 and 2008, respectively. He is currently a Professor and the Chair PI on Advanced Wireless Systems with EURECOM, France. Prior to his current appointment, he has held positions with Huawei Paris Research Center, France; Centrale Supélec, France; The University of Texas at Austin, Texas, USA; and finally Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea.
