The Department of Aeronautics is the UK’s leading Aeronautical Engineering Department and one of the largest in respect of research breadth and volume in Europe.
Our research ranges from fundamental to applied and covers aviation, space, wind energy, robotics, bioengineering, and more.
This event aims to showcase our latest research through a mix of posters and panel sessions led by our experts.

- Panel session 1: Net zero flight – A broad discussion on next-generation aircraft technologies to enable flight with net-zero emissions.

- Panel session 2: Space technologies – An update on our latest research to bring about affordable access to space.

- Facility Tours (Additive Manufacturing Facilities, Flight Arena, Composites Manufacturing, T1 and T2 Wind Tunnels, 10×5 Wind Tunnel). Tours are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Sign up sheets will be located at the Information Desk.
