The Latin American Society of Imperial College London and Latin America Business Club are organising and hosting the IV Latin American Society Symposium: LATAM Strategies and Research for a Sustainable Future to be held on the 19th and 20th May 2022 at the South Kensington campus of Imperial College London.
The event is hybrid, so you can join online or in person.
This year, the Symposium will discuss the work that the Imperial College Community is leading to tackle environmental, economic, and social challenges in the region. The Symposium aims to provide a platform to present projects about:
- New horizons about sustainability and infrastructure
- Environmental challenges
- Innovation products and tools to improve well-being and life quality in vulnerable communities
The Symposium brings together researchers, governmental representatives and industry leaders, which will open opportunities to acquire further knowledge in the scientific and political debate in the upcoming years.
We will host presentations, forums and networking sessions where attendees will be able to interact with students, senior researchers and political authorities, such as Embassy representatives, industry leaders and members of STEM-related institutions. Food will be vegetarian and vegan.
