Synopsis

In 2015, over 1 million people without papers came to the European continent to ask for asylum. In 2018, inspired by the work of activists, filmmakers and artists, Has travelled from the south of Italy to the north of France – tracing lives, life and living from border to border – listening, participating and filming. Four years later, in 2022, people continue to move, with over 1 million refugees from Ukraine fleeing their country and the struggle of welcoming continues.

Am I biologically human or politically human? What is it to walk down a street hand in hand with freedom?
