Rob Greig is a London based photographer.

He studied at the Bournemouth and Poole College of Art and Design before moving to London in 1999, and works primarily as a commercial and editorial portrait photographer. His work has appeared worldwide in newspapers, magazines and on the occasional book jacket and album cover. He was the staff photographer at Time Out magazine for over a decade.

This is his first solo exhibition.

“Revisiting is a collection of portraits from the last 20 years. I have either returned to locations, people or subjects that have developed more significance in the last two years.

Editorial portraits are rarely produced with an exhibition in mind, as layouts, deadlines and the accompanying text are paramount – however, this process is probably more important to my work than I was aware. The story behind each image providing me with the tools I use every day with any kind of commission.

I have enjoyed rediscovering previously discarded images or references and their relevance to my current work and confidence as a photographer.”
