The Global Burden of AMR: Evidence and the need for Action

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a threat to global health. By building the most comprehensive dataset to date I will describe how the Global Research on AntiMicrobial resistance (GRAM) project  measured the mortality and morbidity attributable and associated with AMR. This work is crucial for informing policy and governments to curb the threat of AMR on a global scale. Now we have this evidence, I will also introduce my new work: the AMR Data to Inform Local Action (ADILA) project where we will work with country stakeholders to inform local policy for prescribing using local data.
