Time is running out on solving one of the world’s biggest problems – how to achieve environmental sustainability while looking after people and economic wellbeing. Oxfordshire Greentech and Cambridge Cleantech invite you to join their debate event at the Said Business School in Oxford, sponsored by Michael Page, as we aim to dive into the key obstacles to achieving sustainability.

Whether you consider yourself a sustainability expert or are completely new to it, this debate will be an opportunity to learn from the subject’s experts and meet other likeminded people.  We’re bringing together a raft of seasoned experts (including Coordinating Lead Author on the IPCC’s Special Report on 1.5 degrees, Professor Myles Allen and former Director of the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research Professor Kevin Anderson)  to debate whether they think increasing consumption is the key obstacle to achieving sustainability.

Join us for what will be an electrifying and hugely important debate on where we should focus our energies – and stay with us afterwards for drinks, networking, and deep-diving into more conversations.

16.00-18.00 plus drinks and networking
