We are delighted to be able to inform you of the April 2023 MTWC for Fibrosing Lung Disease Seminar series talk to be given at the end of March, this is to avoid any potential clash with the Easter period, and which will be given by our speaker Dr Chris Ryerson, University of British Colombia on Thursday 30th March 2023.

Talk details as follows:-

Talk Title: Advances in the diagnosis and classification of pulmonary fibrosis: Bringing evidence to recent guidelines

Location: Room G220, Ground Floor, Guy Scadding Building, Royal Brompton Campus and Online via Microsoft Teams (Hybrid)

Please note Registration is required for this event whether attending in person or online – there will only be 20 places available to those who wish to attend in person as the talk is being held at a different location to any Imperial College campus sites, please see above, and places are limited and will therefore be given on a first come, first serve basis.

Bio –

​Dr. Chris Ryerson completed his core clinical training at the University of British Columbia and an interstitial lung disease (ILD) fellowship and Masters degree in clinical research at the University of California San Francisco before joining UBC faculty in 2011. He is an Associate Professor at UBC, director of the St. Paul’s Hospital ILD clinical and research program, and Head of the Division of Respiratory Medicine at Providence Health Care. His research focuses on the diagnosis, management, and prognostication of ILD. He is also involved in several national and international clinical practice guidelines on the diagnosis and management of fibrotic ILD.
