We are pleased to announce Professor Sinead Farrington, who will be speaking at our next Physics Colloquium on Thursday 14 March at 4.00pm.

Sinead Farrington is a Professor of Experimental Particle Physics at Edinburgh and was the recipient of the 2021 Laureate in Physical Sciences, Blavatnik UK New York Academy of Sciences prize.

She worked on the ATLAS collaboration at the LHC at CERN collaborating in Higgs searches to tau leptons searching for exotic particles and currently serves on the STFC’s Project Peer Review Panel and as a UK representative on the European Committee on Future Accelerators.
