Join us for a session of mindful movement and meditation on the main campus. We offer a similar session every Tuesday lunchtime in the Chaplaincy, so you can have a taste of this regular offering. 

You are welcome to join this session whether you are new to meditation or not. In this session, we will practice a very simple meditation technique, mindfulness of the breath. The regular practice of this type of meditation, amongst many other benefits, helps you develop focus and concentration. 

The mindful movement at the beginning of the session will contribute to a sense of grounding, and bring us into the present moment by paying attention to the experience of gentle movement in our bodies. 

Wear comfy clothes to move and sit freely. We will bring meditation cushions for you to try if you feel like it, and we will guide you through a meditation sitting posture that is relaxed and aware at the same time.
