Analytic Insights into Infection: The Power of Data Aggregation

Early in 2020 our group provided some of the first evidence that neutralising antibodies are correlated with protection from symptomatic COVID-19. Since this early finding, we have continued to show that this relationship holds for new variants, over time and for severe disease and for passively administered antibodies. We have also predicted the impact of changes to vaccine strains on vaccine protection. I will give an overview of this work and discuss how it has been made possible by the aggregation and analysis of data from many different sources.
