Golden Gate Bridge

Calling all alumni based in the Pacific Northwest!

Join us on 22 October for an evening reception in San Francisco, hosted by President Hugh Brady and Imperial Global USA.

The evening will include:

  • A welcome from Professor Hugh Brady, President of Imperial College London.
  • A conversation with Vinod Khosla, founder of Khosla Ventures and a pioneering investor in deep-tech and transformative innovation.
    • An introduction from Amanda Wolthuizen, Imperial’s Vice President and Chief of Staff, on WestTech London, which is one of Europe’s leading innovation districts and investment opportunities. Hear how Imperial is building new transatlantic partnerships to scale the next generation of transformative technologies.
    • The opportunity to network with alumni, founders and leaders across the Bay Area’s tech, science and innovation community.
    • Drinks, light bites and lively discussion at Entrepreneurs First, in the heart of San Francisco’s startup ecosystem.

Imperial is the only international university with a dedicated presence in Silicon Valley focused entirely on science, engineering and technology.

Through its hub, Imperial Global USA, Imperial connects world-class research with investors, entrepreneurs and industry partners to accelerate the translation of deeply technical ideas into societal impact. For business leaders, founders and investors, Imperial Global USA offers a direct bridge to one of the world’s top research institutions and its global innovation network.

This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow alumni and friends of our university across the Bay Area’s tech and innovation community.
