About Allons enfants
This upbeat breakdance documentary follows a group of talented, ambitious kids from diverse backgrounds as they adjust to life at the Turgot School in the centre of Paris — a much swankier high school than they’re used to. It’s a culture shock. The principal has lifted the geographic zoning barrier to allow students from less affluent neighbourhoods to attend, making breakdance a key part of the curriculum — and boosting their chances of winning hip-hop battles against competing schools.
