The Centre for Sectoral Economic Performance (CSEP) Exports Bootcamp is an in-person, full-day working forum bringing together industry, government, and academia to examine the practical mechanics of exporting, with a particular focus on the HealthTech sector. Exports represent an important opportunity for growth of the UK’s highly successful HealthTech sector. The aim of the workshop is to explore how business, government and other stakeholders can work together support the exports of UK HealthTech. The bootcamp will explore the roles of market access, regulation, bilateral frameworks, customs, finance, and distribution, the programme is designed to move beyond high-level policy discussion and concentrate on real operational barriers, proven delivery models, and actionable solutions.
In addition, the bootcamp will explore how technological advances such as, digital trade tools, data analytics, automation, and AI-enabled processes, can strengthen export growth and competitiveness. Through structured sessions and joint business–government reflections, participants will exchange lived experience, test existing support mechanisms, and identify practical steps to reduce friction, improve coordination, and enhance the UK’s export performance, particularly within HealthTech and adjacent innovation-driven industries.
Attendance is by invitation only. If you are interested in attending, please contact Anna Radomska (a.radomska@imperial.ac.uk), and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
