His talk will be on his journey from academic to industry, beginning as a PhD student and leading into his current role in Pret A Manger. Within this he will discuss the key similarities and differences between academia and industry.

Dr Anna Cherta is a former PhD student at Imperial that now works as a specialist scientist in glucose and weight management at Nestlé. She will talk about transitioning from academia to industry.
