We know that scaling up carbon dioxide removal (CDR) is a vital part of limiting warming in line with the Paris Agreement. There are exciting developments in the sector, but it is still nascent and faces many barriers to growth.
Drawing on insights from the UKRI-funded CO2RE programme, findings from greenhouse gas removal Demonstrator projects, and the new edition of the State of Carbon Dioxide Removal report, this panel discussion will consider the latest trends in CDR, where the UK might have an edge, and what needs to happen in order for the sector to scale up. There will be time for audience questions at the end.
