Researcher: Dr Catalin I. Pruncu

Supervisor: Dr Jun Jiang

Summary

Currently, his research is dedicated to further develop and validate hot form quench (HFQ®) Technology for use in the global automotive industry. His focus is to apply the EBSD for characterisation of microstructure and Geomatrically Necessary Dislocations (GND) that helps to fundamentally explain the mechanical behaviour of aluminium submitted to hot forming processes.
