EPSRC Centres for Doctoral Training

What is a CDT?

EPSRC Centres for Doctoral Training are cross-departmental, cross-faculty or cross-UK institution research centres sponsored by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).

Each CDT offers four-year fully-funded PhD studentships in Materials, sponsored by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).

While working on an exciting research project you will benefit from specific modules in your research subject, opportunities for professional development and cohort-building activities.

Advanced Characterisation of Materials (CDT ACM)

The CDT ACM programme trains new scientists to become experts in the application of advanced analytical techniques for materials development.
