Areas of expertise

Curriculum Development

Using an evidence-based approach, we design and develop medical curricula from the ground up, or support institutions in refining and enhancing existing programmes. Our work considers national, regional, and institutional requirements, ensuring each curriculum is tailored to meet specific educational, professional, cultural and societal needs. With experience gained through our Global Partnerships, we collaborate to create needs-based, high-impact curricula.

From programme-level learning outcomes to structuring modules and crafting individual teaching sessions, our team will work with you to create an innovative, modern curriculum. Our team also brings extensive expertise in curriculum mapping, supported by Sofia, our bespoke curriculum mapping software. Sofia enables a clear view of how programmes are structured, documented, and communicated, providing a robust foundation for developing new curricula or reviewing existing .

Curriculum Review

Our team has extensive experience writing and reviewing medical curricula at both national and international levels, including the MBBS programmes at Imperial College London, Pears Cumbria School of Medicine, and LKCMedicine in Singapore. We provide comprehensive reviews to ensure programmes remain cutting-edge, future-focused, and aligned with the expectations of students, faculty, and clinicians alike.

This includes evaluating learning outcomes, pedagogy, content, assessment strategies, governance processes, and regulatory compliance. We help institutions strengthen the quality, relevance, and impact of their curriculum, ensuring every programme reflects the highest standards in medical education.

Quality Assurance

Quality Assurance is a strategic tool which enables medical schools to move beyond performative regulatory compliance and will optimise your students medical school experience and provide valuable intelligence to support effective decision making. Assessment

Assessment is the cornerstone of every medical programme – ensuring that future doctors meet the highest standards of knowledge, competence, and professionalism.

At Imperial College London’s Faculty of Medicine, we have extensive experience designing assessments across all stages of medical education. Our Educational Partnerships Office works with institutions to develop evidence-based, rigorous assessment strategies tailored to their context, from selecting the most appropriate assessment methodologies to creating high-quality written and clinical assessment items.

Crucially, the assessments are fully blueprinted to the curriculum, aligned with national and institutional regulatory requirements, and designed to ensure graduates are prepared to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care.

Admissions

A successful medical programme begins long before the first teaching session – it starts with selecting the right students. The Educational Partnerships Office helps institutions design admissions processes that are fit for purpose, evidence-based, and aligned with their educational goals.

We support every stage of the admissions journey, from application and shortlisting to entrance examinations, interviews, and onboarding. Our approach combines cognitive and non-cognitive selection methods to identify students who are not only academically strong but also suited to the values, culture, and healthcare needs of their communities.

Crucially, we ensure the admissions process is explicitly linked to the curriculum, creating a coherent, integrated pathway that supports student success and institutional excellence.
