The Imperial Hammersmith Flow Cytometry Facility became active in January 2025 in the refurbished Victor Phillip Dahdaleh building, resulting from the merger between the Imperial facility that closed at St Mary's campus and the Imperial part of the previously joint facility with MRC Laboratory of Medical Sciences (LMS) at Hammersmith campus.
This core facility is funded by the NIHR Imperial Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) and is part of the Faculty of Medicine - Department of Immunology and Inflammation, but it is an infrastructure open to all researchers at Imperial, as well as external users. We also work together with the South Kensington Flow Cytometry Facility to provide consistent support across campuses. All of our equipment is bookable in the PPMS platform after lab induction and training.
We offer hands-on practical training, as well as seminars and workshops.
We welcome feedback from our user committee and we discuss recommendations for facility policy and priorities with our scientific steering committee.
