Representation of Virtual Microstructure for Polycrystalline Materials

My current work focuses on the crystal plasticity modelling, particularly the generation of microstructures for polycrystals. This work aims at proposing an automated approach to generate the grain structures with assigned material properties and hence effectively supporting the FE analysis.

Besides, I have ever done a few projects for various engineering optimization problems, such as structural optimization, high dimensional parameter optimization and calibration, by means of various evolutionary algorithms and also traditional optimization approaches.
