Our dedicated careers team brings together a wealth of experience to support you during your time at CEP and beyond.

Dr Karen Makuch - Director of Careers & Associate Professor in Environmental Law, with experience across academia, consultancy, government and NGOs.

Becky Guppy - Careers Adviser for CEP, providing one-to-one support, CV reviews, and workshops.

Shane Murphy - Senior Departmental Administrator, coordinating CEP’s mentoring and careers events.

Imperial Careers Service

Your career development doesn’t stop at CEP, it’s supported across the College through the Imperial Careers Service, available to all students and recent graduates. 

What’s on offer:

  • One-to-one advice and mock interviews - get personalised feedback and guidance from experienced careers consultants.

  • Workshops and employer events - explore opportunities across environmental, consultancy, policy, research and other sectors.

  • Online CV and application reviews - receive constructive feedback through convenient digital checks.

  • Ongoing support - access careers advice and resources for up to three years after you graduate.
